U.S. cutout Maria Corina Machado, opposition figure to President Nicolás Maduro, will get the prize instead. Maduro, who is being attacked literally with gunboat diplomacy targeting his country’s fishing vessels, and figuratively as when NYC mayoral candidate and progressive darling Zohran Mamdani called Venezuela a dictatorship last week, is in the empire’s crosshairs for two reasons. Because 1) he presides over America’s biggest socialist state and 2) because Venezuela has the largest oil deposits in the world. But it isn’t just Republicans or Europeans who are gunning for Maduro. Democratic administrations and their media outlets have also worked overtime to undermine him just as they did Hugo Chavez, his predecessor, and for the same reasons.
Many of us remember when the odious Barack Obama got the prize and, if old like me, have had little respect for the so-called honor since Henry Kissinger got it in 1973. Based on history, 47 could be forgiven for thinking that the prize works like this: slaughter civilians, drop chemical weapons to kill the forests and poison the people, bomb other countries you’re not even at war with and then finally, when you’ve already lost, sign a ceasefire and withdrawal agreement.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signaled on 9 October that Ukraine will nominate Trump for the prize if he sends Kiev US Tomahawk missiles.
Unfortunately for Zelensky, I don’t see Ukraine anywhere in this chart.
Trump’s “Peace Deal” Mirage: Distraction As Escalation in Zionist War on Gaza & Region Continues
A critical analysis of how theatrical diplomacy, manipulated narratives, and global complicity are paving the way for a wider regional conflict, while the genocide in Gaza continues unabated.
Space is a warfighting domain..
We employ military force to achieve space superiority.
Guardians[sic] are preeminent space warfighters with the knowledge and expertise necessary to achieve U.S. military objectives in the domain.
I feel like this is a pattern lately -- Dems showing up at our protests and standing there with their inappropriate messaging as if we belonged together. I don’t think it is random, I think it is planned.
Woman with U.S. flag and sign: Are you going to No Kings on Oct 18?
Me: No. I don’t approve of Democrats any more than I approve of Republicans.
Her: Oh I know, I know. But, it’s gonna be a big one!
And then she mumbled something regretful that included the phrase “my party” in a tone as if she were talking about a wayward child.
People are easily fooled by words. And they love to hate 47 like it is a religion. So there will be rejoicing at his humiliation over the peace prize.
